Bart Schermer, Advisor ECP.NL Bart is partner at consultancy firm Considerati. In addition to Considerati, he is a lecturer in IT and Internet law at Leiden University, and a fellow of the E.M. Meijers Institute for Legal Studies. He is also vice-chair of the United Nations CEFACT Legal Group, and editor of the Journal of Internet Law (Tijdschrift voor Internetrecht). From 2000 to 2007, he worked as a researcher and consultant at e-business Think Tank ECP.NL, and advised government officials, the European Commission and industry about IT, Internet policies, and legal developments. Bart speaks and publishes regularly about the legal and policy aspects of IT and the Internet. The topics in which he is specialised are gaming, copyright law, and privacy.
